The
company was started by Bob Quinlan in 1977 like many start-up
companies, in a garage, on a part time basis. After only a short
time, Bob resigned his full time position and devoted his time to
building his dream of a locksmith business.
With
the help of his wife, Judy and his friend Roy Miller St., he
opened a 200 sq. foot shop in South Holland. After only a
year, the business was forced to expand to a 1,200 sq. foot
location.
Along
with growth came change. Alarm systems and expanded security
services continued to push the business forward. Today,
Quinlan Security Systems employs 10 people and operates from a
4,800 sq. foot facility.
Now
as crime prevention specialists, they enlighten many to the crime
risk that businesses overlook or are unaware of their potential
harm. Locks, alarm and safes are not always the best
protection. Education and new technology are options to
enhance or replace the security measures of yesterday.
Building
a business with a reputation for educating people as well as
providing effective security for commercial, industrial and
residential customers has been fulfilling for Bob and the Quinlan
team of security experts. The pride in their reputation is
expressed in the service they provide and attested to by their
continued growth. |
